In college, Sunday morning watching a sermon with roommates in the living room, saw a squirrel just outside the patio door on the ground. Grabbed my .22 that they didn't know I had and swiftly opened the patio door and fired from inside the apartment at it as it ran from me. Bullet entered the hip and exited the shoulder. Dead immediately. We grilled it that afternoon... Tasted bad as the intestines were ripped open and rained the meat... But that is a memory!

Should add, this is the target morning routine, but with young kids I'm consistency ebbs and flows depending on the state of the household (sickness, baby sleeping through the night or not, etc)

Big fan here, wife and I have been using one for a couple of months now. Super helpful to prevent waking up and staring at my phone immediately, but still let's me use my phone as an alarm clock.

Interesting. Problems I didn't know existed. Being around a company that actively seeks to avoid the 4CPs and seemingly gets better at it every year... passes an unproportional transmission cost burden down to loads that are smaller. Makes sense.

I joined my HOA to triple the hours our community pools are open (completed and wonderfully improved our summers!) and I am still on the HOA because I can't stand watching people light a plane on fire that they are in while they all fight over who broke the coffee maker.

we run our budget a month ahead, meaning we live off of last months income. We use YNAB to manage that and stay in sync with the wife on day to day finances.
I am most comfortable keeping fiat we may need within 4 years in fiat... as I never want to be a forced Bitcoin seller. So in practice that means holding fiat for major car repairs, enough fiat to meet our out of pocket family deductible, and funds to be able to handle a significant house repair (ac unit).
