@nprofile…tsag a libc im working on. i started it for my hobby OS project but it turned out to be a very portable approach so i started writing a linux runtime for it. it's designed to run in freestanding environments. so like, you bring your own code for instance you provide a page allocation interface, and doglibc will use it for malloc. you specify those interfaces at runtime too which is useful for osdev. or, you use a platform runtime that specifies them for you and never think about it.
