To the #nostr #plebs I keep seeing in the top trending. I see some talk about content and how to attract new users. Wel maybe look at who is already using nostr🤔
I tried zapping many #photography #nature #gardening this last day and pretty much most failed. Is this my wallet @npub1get…0nfm client @npub12vk…pugg or just that we have users making content but they are missing out on #zaps?
Get them into it or at least make them aware it is and how, simple. Maybe old folk who know little about tech -just assuming- maybe just no give a sht.. but they do use nostr so..

We're addicted to many things, the next thing, what's next?, being up to date and so avoid just being with ourselves.
Nostr, how beautiful it is, can or may become, is same thing. Information, entertainment, a screen offering excuses to avoid our inner battles. A tool nonetheless for a balanced Soul.
Addictions helps us not to look at our demons, numbing our fears in whatever ways that our life has to offer, limited by the mind reign, liberating if we dare to reflect, painful maybe still for letting go... detox sweats.
Just a morning thought on your note 😄 , after waking up, happy for avoiding the voices that wish to snooze till late, falling for the voices to needed to roll a smoke and joining that with my minds ritual of wanting that GM coffee, while sitting being my screen instead of listening to the voice of reason to first have a morning walk.

Maybe move to the Caribbean, find an island that leaves you alone as long as you can pay your way. It’s one way.
I've experienced that the “problems” I faced followed me where I went. Externally you could say, one place has got better laws and all, but in the end some things we need to face. It’s how we deal with it internally. Easier said than done, but I feel it is the way. Alan Watts style. The future, we know not. Maybe things happened, old age, health/injury, family, falling in love and suddenly you need to move to a totalitarian place.. or totalitarianism just follows you where you go..
I remember moving from one place, hurt and depressed that trees were being cut down for stupid reasons. Then when looking for a new place I took lots of time to find a spot I thought perfect, having trees that seemed not to be in the way of anything for potential cutting down... and then plans came, new permits were given removing old restrictions and the trees came down for stupid reasons.
And stories from family I heard, they have friends hyper sensitive for all kinds of wireless, electrical stuff, radio waves.. They found land far away in a valley, away from it all, build a hut, all good off grid and then plans came, neighboring lands got build up, big antennas placed and now… they are wrapping their hut in led and probably need to move again.. and again other living off grid got a wind-farm right in front of their beautiful community.
I feel an itch sometimes to escape where I am, find out same thing your asking. Where is freedom best lived? But some shit, it seems, we need to face.

It's some great cinema that can fuel the chaos that is happening in the world, what you think?
Not saying don't enjoy a movie like this one. But I think it's good to reflect on what we take in and how it makes us feel. I remember after seeing the Joker, feeling it tickle the darkness in me, understanding where his outbursts could come from in a world that treated him so cruel. Efforts are made to get us brainwashed to hate each other from so many angles. It is coming from Hollywood, right?

I’ve already experienced blabbering (or fuming internally) out generalizations, getting to pointing fingers, You you you are to blame for this f’ed up world.
I find it’s easy to become infected by toxic rhetoric when spending to long consuming half backed “wise-talk”. I’ m guilty! I find it addictive. On twitter etc, with all the bots, to make effort to approach other this way, nah, but here on nostr I feel It’s good to call each other out so we can learn to reflect on our monkey mind that is so full of nonsense.
To divide oneself from others in left right, boomer genz etc feels to damn easy and feels like low-level consciousness. It’s hard to smell our own breath, but it’s worth it.

I'm going to write down my minds boggling' about this subject, for I feel a bit stuck in discission making.
I used fb it in the past and have deactivated it a few times. Sometimes for months or a year. I come back when I feel I need to post something that old fb friends need to know.., but I feel little engagement unless I post personal life stuff.
Topics outside the normie box get little attention. Hard to tell if I am shadow banned, but it looks so. Always the same people engaging that agree with me.
As I am writing .. fb is pretty dead.. But what to do? Just deactivate again of delete it so I can not go back?? My thoughts are that when I delete It is ALLLL for fb and when I deactivate some is still in my control.
What are you thought about this?

I just checked his youtube channel and if you go from 'latest' video's to the 'oldest' 15 years back, about four years ago and older ,they hit a lot more 'million views'. You can see how it goes down after that. He really had front row seats in all this online change.

Doesn't sound easy at all. Amazon web server sounds, being amazon, also like a risk to store content for long term. But I don't really know the details how it all works.
What I think get, is that ideally (in some hopefully near future) we have small/big servers scattered around the globe storing nostr content, were people see the benefit of nostr and invest in these servers for there own good. For now we get people aware this new way of posting content exists.

On centralized serves sounds vulnerable. I assume they are scattered around the globe? I'm not a developer, but curious.
I get the rugging I think. If i take Russel Brand as example. He would start on youtube during c'rona and move the rest of his report that would get censured to rumble. If suddenly his full account on YT would disappear people know to find him on rumble. Like this would be nice if he also does that with nostr.
But if he and other large youtubers would flee to nostr.. Some post hours of tube per week. I'm curious how that will fit on a decentralized network?
