Asking myself if there is a new feeling amongst most people, some kind of hopelessnes, or if that was always there?

Now that is an interesting philosophical debate.
I see some points open here:
1) Isn't "trap" a bit misleading since it implies knowlege of directed action? For all we know the harmful nature of our existence may well be random, so i'd call it something that went wrong to be on the safe side of not implying knowledge i don't have.
2) The abilities of the inhabitants of the world make a difference, if they are not able to do better that's one part and if they're less capable of feeling bad that's another. "Naturally" implies a stable baseline, and i think the baseline changes over time/evolution.
3) The actions of the inhabitants also make a difference (though not the only one), the more harm they do, the worse. The more they help each other, the better.
So i would not say always immoral, we're just in a very bad place. Ability to feel great harm, concentrated ability to do harm in the hands of some that have no inhibitions to do so. I see a sliding scale, and we're pretty far to the bad end.
If you deny the scale part, i wonder why you think that helping others is good or harming others bad (do you?) - after all, with the black and white view, it would make no difference?

Ah, the context helps a lot.
I totally agree that making babies in the current circumstances is a bad idea.
Focussed on not being unethical, your original toot makes a lot more sense to me: there is no reason to deny oneself joy, but it makes sense to be guarded enough to not let harm come to others because of a moment of exuberance.
It is relevant to say this because under better environmental conditions (no fascism, democracy working as intended by the people, economic concerns aligned with sustainability), it would be different in terms of reproduction being unethical.
Did i understand or miss the point?

Ok, so thinking aloud time:
Fascism, focussing on "hating others" (the outgroup) is inefficient.
Emotions are important to get the complete picture, but i want to ignore emotions for a bit here. Because emotions would just make facism worse, and i want to focus on the efficiency part.
So i heard humans most important trait was tool use. I want to dispute that, i think collaboration (beyond animal packs) is the greatest trait we have. Helping each other beyond a short lived action is actually helpful, like dividing work for example.
So when fascism ostracises an outgroup, it destroys the efficiency humans can achieve. There's unnecessary struggle, outgroup forced to push back, ingroup people that want collaboration push back, just a lot of struggle that is completely unnecessary.
So i say fascism is not just an offence to human rights and such, but an inefficient way to shape human society, beyond all humanitarian or empathetic concerns.
