That's one thing Mozilla definitely finally did right (aside from the topic whether they should offer an AI bot chat panel in the first place): An AI off-switch that includes all possible future features. Set it and forget it, reliably.

BTW Tusky App allows the scheduling of posts, but the phone needs to be online at the time you want the post to go through.
Few people use it though, it's a cultural thing I guess plus no pressure to feed the algorithm 🤔
I do use it sometimes when I'm travelling and want to post pictures, so that posts that identify my location only go out after I have already left. That will give me some locational privacy.

Maybe this will mane my point clearer: The first browser I have ever used was Netscape Navigator 4, and I did know that data was stored in a profile subdirectory named with a hex string when I researched how to create backups and migrate machines.
I had no clue that there's a feature to have multiple profiles, becauseI never actively researched the topic.
Now, how is my friend who needs every mouse click explained 3 times supposed to research the commands and run them?

I guess the innovation here is then that you don't need to relaunch to switch profile. I still remember the days where you had to do a restart if you wanted to switch the UI language... so still some progress I guess.

What you should be doing instead is to make it both easy and legal to report CSAM. For example, people moderating Mastodon instances hosted out of Germany must immediately delete any CSAM the find without reporting, because if you report, it's proving "possession" which comes which a 11 year minimum prison sentence.
What you need to build up is easy reporting like the USA has, and fund sufficient staff to actually deal with the reports.

In Scotland, you get regular nagging letters/e-mails from the local council asking you to update who's voting from your address.
In Germany, everybody has to register their palace of residence and if you're voting age, you get a national ID card and you're automatically registered to vote too. You only need to register manually if you're homeless or living abroad - yes, homeless people can actually vote!
The way the US organizes its electoral roll is f-ing nuts.

BTW I originally didn't get what calling the main branch in git "master" was a problem, because in my mind it meant "skillful person", as in "master journeyman".
I have since learned to listen to the victims and change my mind - what it means to them takes priority, because it's harmful and rubbing their nose in it should be avoided.
