I quit listening cuz his economic theory is completely ignorant of the feds strategy and uneducated economist offers much better insight, does TFM know about bernakes "gold machine or yellens "opportunistic reinflation" of 2019 or treffens dilemma?
The whole world has issued dollar denominated debts to each other and they still need dollars to repay them. TFM has never considered that we have to get those dollars out to the world

Tariffs were always just a credible threat to increase inflation expectations and therefore stimulate the economy by increasing the neutral interest rate, and lowering the effective interest rate without actually moving rates at all
