I don't use Windows very often, but today I helped a friend upgrade his CPU, GPU, and RAM.
When I did a similar upgrade on my own system running Debian it booted the first time without a hiccup and I could use my PC right away.
On Windows it took hours of bullshit and many reboots.
Windows is unfamiliar territory for me which definitely slowed me down, but I could not shake the feeling that the OS was working against me.
Linux is easier. Linux is less work.

Check out these cool moths!
The first photo was taken early evening July 2nd in the parking lot of my union local. These moths had been at it all day.
My friend identified them as hyalophora cecropia, a type of giant silk moth. I think she's right.

The second photo was taken yesterday. A fellow worker found a dead moth on her way to the bus stop. I think it's also a cecropia moth but I'm no expert.
