I have just been THOROUGHLY insulted by a geedee machine AND EVERYBODY who contributed to its creation. I ordered a bra on Amazon. (Don't judge. I live in Alaska and I hate clothes shopping.) The tag on it said "This is not a bra." Well wtf is it then? A hat? A truck? A chihuahua? Because I ordered a bra.

I have a problem. My children are all obese. I have modeled great nutrition and exercise habits, and only have high quality foods at home. They find the junk elsewhere, eat it, then accuse me of being judgy and not loving them when I call them out.

I'm so tired of the threat, "If x, we will lose our democracy!" First, we don't have an actual democracy. We don't even have a proper democratic republic. In practice, it's mostly a corporatocracy now, rapidly evolving into a technocracy. And second, democracy sucks! I didn't hear any objections, so we are in Pavillion 5, the one with the most shade, and furthest from the playground. I'll bring charcoal and some dogs and chips that everyone can partake in, v4v style. I'll also encourage people to bring something to share, if they have a famous potato salad recipe or something.
If anyone is driving in, and you have space in your vehicle for a box fan or a tabletop grill, that stuff would be mighty handy.

Question for users of Cleanfeed in conjunction with Audacity: If I record in Cleanfeed multi track setting, after I import into Audacity, if I split one of the tracks to edit, I can't reconnect it. Also, I can't toggle between mono and stereo. All that stuff works fine if I record on the stereo split setting, but then I can't place markers for edits while we're recording. What am I doing wrong? TIA

Meat has started tasting weird, and by weird I mean unpleasant. Different animals, different parts of the country (or even out of the country), sometimes from a restaurant, sometimes from a grocery store. Even jerky, & I used to love that stuff. I'm not getting dragged down the semantic rabbit hole of "democracy". We can disagree about that. It's not the important part. The important part is that we live in an oligarchy, a plutocracy, DISGUISED AS something along the lines of democracy. I've seen the rot all the way down at the school board level.
