Big sprites and lots of colors for this platformer action game, not far from a metroidvania because you need to go inside buildings and find the way to go out. A forgotten hit.

The 3-D Battles of WorldRunner (1987) by Square NES game https://www.uvlist.net/game-7489
It looks like a mix of Space Harrier and Trailblazer. It's a bit boring (less obstacles than Trailblazer) but difficult for the first level, before the boss fight. It was designed for 3D view with special glasses but some people complained that it didn't work. Technically well done but not as much as its models
