I did play "Real Myst" Which was kinda neat. I think the use of walking freely makes you move a little too fast for my taste, but that might be just pure "Point and click adventure game" Autisim. I haven't tried the 2024 version, yet. I'm happy to know I have another reason to play through Myst again!
The Last Express is on GOG and Steam. Steam has the "Gold Edition" Which is fine way to play it, but the little bios they give you for all the characters and the story take away the whole intense mystery vibe the game gives off. I think the original version on GOG is a much better experience, but you might have a hard time running it on modern hardware. It's kind of a pain to get to run on linux, unless you just use a VM for windows XP.
But no matter how you play it, it's one of the best games I've played, point and click or otherwise. Like if David Lynch made Indiana Jhones and decided it should be a 3 disc adventure game.

Riven is so much more playable now with emulation. Now you just bop a key combo to switch discs.
I remember having some fun with one of the very last myst games, but it was a FAR cry from Myst or Riven.
If you liked those I highly recommend the last Express. One of the best myst-inspired games I've ever played.

Dilbert influenced my sense of humor at a young age. It was one of the comic strips I'd save to read when I finished the rest of the comics page and I like forward to the color one every Sunday. Along with Calvin and Hobbes and the phantom, Dilbert was why I had a newspaper subscription for the longest time.
Scott Adams isn't always popular in cartoonist circles or a lot of public discourse but I never cared. Ratbert especially gave me a lot of joy over the years and I'll miss scott adams dearly.

The Overcoat, the animation said to be his greatest work, started in the 80's, as of 2004 has about 24 minutes of 65 finished.

Depressing, because I think it brings its own unique style to the table. They never forget they're a family in witness protection and focus around that a lot. Hard to compete with Futurama (In its prime) AND KotH, still.
But, they seem to want to make more

aw man, this looks sick, I can see the "Canadian" Style in this.
Wish this would have gotten picked up. Last new canadian cartoon anybody cared about was the new seasons of clone high.
I have been told by several Canadians not to even bother watching them, apparently they're really bad.
I will report back when I eventually do because I watch all cartoons.

From what I've seen, not much? Which is sad, because I know for a fact there are a lot of cartoonists in canada who would love a shot at their own show...
If you remember the name of the Evil Dead parody, I wanna look it up. They probably should have sprung for a couple of shows. These networks tend to put all their eggs in one or two baskets instead of experimenting with a variety.

I didn't know there was a contest. I can see why this on, though. The original pilot didn't have the mounty in it, but at least they leaned into how silly they come off by making McCool a square.
They are making new stuff, sorta. They post a lot of compilations of old episodes and occasionally post new little bits like this

yeah, it ended way too soon and didn't get any real airtime in the US, but their official youtube has all the episodes individually and in season compilations. They're also working on some new stuff and posted this a year ago
one of the few animated sitcoms to make fun of libs and get away with it (Everything with petey is just calling libs pussies)

I worked at a car wash. The owner knew I was a "Tech Guy" so he invites me to his house, which was across the street from the car wash. He's livid, just throwing his hands up. "I got this new phone and it came with half the charger!!!" he's holding the charging block with one hand and the usb cord in the other and between his outbursts during his complete mental breakdown, I showed him how to plug in the usb into the charging port.
This guy designed car wash parts. This guy built the car wash I spent every day in.
