I think all these differences are just technical. To the user there's no practical difference; bsky.app has all the power over ATProto that mastodon.social has over ActivityPub. Relays can block PDSes like instances defederate from each other. If a PDS decides to delete your data you're just as fucked as you would be if a mastodon admin did the same. Neither system has any built in economic incentives for any of these admins not to try to profit from your attention.

disc brakes are super simple, but drum brakes are quite a bit more painful. just be real careful not to fuck up the brake lines by letting the calipers dangle, they get brittle and fixing them is a MUCH bigger job.

this is a $200 #sharkvacuum from 2019. It doesn't have lidar, or very good cameras otherwise. It's still going mostly off of bumping into things.
There's a >$1k one, I've had my eye on that uses lidar, but I'm not sure if it can detect poops either. In fact, it mops as well, so it might just get the poop wet and smear it more!

Ford and GM both promised EV crate motors years ago. They just announced that they will to prevent third parties from entering the market.
The best place to look these days are the hobbiests; there are open source firmwares for Toyota Prius inverters that can work for EV conversions and lots of people are rebuilding Tesla batteries with open controllers.

my concern isn't resolving names to wallet addresses. I'm sure .eth is fine for that.
My concern is resolving names to websites. I'm using https://fleek.xyz to host on IPFS. ENS can point to IPFS addresses, but browsers can't resolve .eth
If I have a .com I can point it to fleek which just acts as an IPFS gateway then.
@npub1t4g…ml9t seems to be able to resolve .eth, but then it redirects to ipfs.io which is just another gateway.
It's all pretty confusing.

if you lose the keys you lose the crypto even though it's on the Blockchain. Besides you only need the keys when you spend. I can destroy the wallet and still receive funds. Then when I feel like spending I can recreate the wallet from the seed.

I never got into the Sony Playstation; I was a #Sega kid. I've been playing through the PS1 library, and though it's MASSIVE, there's really not a lot of #games that are any good. A big part of the fun of #retroGaming is the nostalgia of playing games you remember playing or wanted to play as a kid. So, maybe it's just my perspective, but I feel like the #Saturn and #N64 had a better ratio of shovelware to quality gaming.
