Good morning everyone. Clear day with blue skies, cicadas humming.
Last 48 hours have been pretty hectic with the crypto crash of 2026, or in particular BTC crash.
It was mentioned on InvestAnswers that long term holders were selling beyond the usual sell down for taking chips off the table.
My view is that this related to the Epstein financial influence on the crucial Bitcoin Core developers and what appears to be deliberate hamstringing of BTC’s effectiveness long term (such as small block size <1MB, separation of signature SegWit, and need for complicating layer 2 transaction apps).
The crash therefore in part a crisis in BTC foundations, shaken to the core.
This has added weight to BCH’s claim to closer align to the original Bitcoin intent and rationale for large block sizes.
Expect renewed enthusiasm for Bitcoin Cash as a result. Open to comments and other perspectives.
