I disappeared for several days because my children became seriously ill with a stomach infection and severe flu caused by the cold and rain. Those days were filled with fear and constant worry for their lives.

As this year ends and a new one begins, my children and I in Gaza are rebuilding our lives after the war. While the fighting has stopped, daily hardships remain.
