I just deactivated my Twitter/X account.
I will use Mastodon from now on.
I should have done it long ago, but I was hoping that I would be able to transfer my data from X to Mastodon at some point.
I guess that's not happening.
My next target would be to delete my Instagram/Thread account.

As a #discord alternative,
I don't see my see myself using nor recommending #revolt unless it becomes #federated
Asking people to switch to Revolt from Discord doesn't make much sense.
Yes, it is open source, and you might be able to self-host it, but it doesn't really solve the problem.
We need decentralization while still being able to communicate with one another.
Because of that, I believe #matrix would be a better solution.
