Felt like we had a water rellamt bubble over us all summer. It would go north and south of us, but we were denied. I didn't have more than 6 inches in my rain barrel until July.

Meanwhile, my family member needed a repeat C-section for her 3rd child, had planned with her doctor to have her tubes tied at the same time, but she unexpectedly went into labor away from home. The Catholic hospital where she delivered refused to do it. She had to have a 2nd procedure.

Something I noticed when my son was in high school: They taught history, and discussed current events, but the stuff that happened during his early lifetime got short shrift. He was 6 on 9/11, so he really knows nothing about the Iraq War. He was too young to understand when it happened, and school rarely covered it.
