Fast backups for logical volumes and disk images on Linux.

Wyng is building a faster _and_ safer way to support a frequent backup schedule on hardened Linux PCs and servers. Even hourly backups on multi-terabyte volumes is possible without a noticeable impact on system resources.

Wyng uses copy-on-write info to accelerate backups, much like btrfs-send but doesn't require a special fs on the storage end. It also handles data as simple blocks, so it can store even compromised guest filesystems while keeping the admin env safe.

Major funding for development comes from the https://www.qubes-os.org project (). Wyng also receives support from orgs and individuals across the open source community.
