if the 90's were defined by classic retro videogames with pixel and "old" graphics, then why was music and images so high quality?? for example, in 1995 radiohead released "the bends", a cool album!! but it doesn't sound like it was made in 1995, because in 1995 videogames were pixelated and had blurry graphics, shouldn't it have been that way too?? if technology was that way in 1995?? why does that album sound so high quality and modern if it was made around the same time old retro games were made?? thank you!?

like, let's say i'm talking to my boss or a coworker through email!! and i type those emojis, like "^u^" or ":3" (those text emojis), would that be considered a bad idea?? i would use them because i would want people to know how i'm feeling through text and also because i think not using text emojis feels a bit empty, it maybe even makes the message sound rude or angry!! but i could not use emojis if it's not a good thing

like not doing anything, just a spare laptop in case i ever need one, what if i use it years after i installed debian on it?? i would have to update like 300 packages and would take a lot??

microblogging is something used on a much more personal level while i think forum style social media is mostly for looking for answers and posting things you do, but microblogging social media sites are for that too. also, this is not meant to be offensive, but i think that since mastodon has been in the works for like a long time, it looks more polished than modern websites, so that can be an advantage it has

hi i just wanted to ask a question which is the following umm why, why does when you do delete a post in profile your main profile does it not get deleted?? like it gets deleted but in the main profile it gets a little trash can symbol red symbol, red symbol on the right!! which means that it's been deleted but it still shows up in my profile history how can i delete it forever please?? thanks you so much!!!
