And this is why I'd use Google products before Bing/Edge related crapware. Granted I prefer Startpage over both. They wont just let you do what you need to without “helpfully" trying to force more of their crap on you.

Side note Google does this too and can be gamed similarly for youtube ads and promoted videos if you have history enabled and aren't ad blocking

Well for one they track everything under the sun and get data all over the web. So best guess they got repeated hits that your computer/phone using multiple sites that do have your real name as a confirmed field and used that. Or if you have one of their apps they might've just harvested it directly from the device. Contrary to what they claim, they do listen & browse things without permission. Wife & I made a game out of seeing how fast to pop a ad up on her phone.

ahh ok, just fyi pwa’s work on Vivaldi. I keep one up for my Fastmail and an outlook one for work on that machine. Can run about any extension on Google extension store. I have bitten, dark reader, cookie remover, canvas blocker-fingerprint protect, violent monkey, and a few others. Also can load other ad filters.

That's one of the catches even if he were to have done so right after the debate mess. There is relatively little time to gather support and convince people to back anyone beyond the "We all have to come together to prevent him from being elected again." And that is assuming if he drops out there isn't a half dozen or more folks suddenly throwing their hat into the ring. This may be a screwed either way it plays out.

Isn't this redundant? I mean you can mute/block someone and you don't see anything from them? Other than potentially making a choice for someone else too. Also is it opt-in or opt-out?🤔

Depending on what you want to do a non "mainline" may be your best bet and experience. Unless you wanna dive into that world of adding it yourself.
