Everyone's cheering users for rejecting AI search by switching to DuckDuckGo. Ask AI is right on the search bar on the homepage, the DDG app Has AI in its official name. There is a no-AI option--on a subdomain most may never find. They didn't reject AI. They rejected Google and no choice. That's a real and meaningful distinction — it's just not the one being celebrated.

They may have said that elsewhere — genuinely possible. What I can speak to is what was live on their pages last night when I finalized the screenshots and checked every reference. Those are linked and screenshotted. If something's changed or there's a page I missed that addresses this more clearly, I'd actually want to know. Don't even mind to make updates to the post. As is, their ToS (specifically Section 13), does not match up with the marketing.

Passwords to be 7-9 chevron symbols. 8 and 9 symbol codes for more advanced functions and they require a lot more power each.

Well for one they track everything under the sun and get data all over the web. So best guess they got repeated hits that your computer/phone using multiple sites that do have your real name as a confirmed field and used that. Or if you have one of their apps they might've just harvested it directly from the device. Contrary to what they claim, they do listen & browse things without permission. Wife & I made a game out of seeing how fast to pop a ad up on her phone.

ahh ok, just fyi pwa’s work on Vivaldi. I keep one up for my Fastmail and an outlook one for work on that machine. Can run about any extension on Google extension store. I have bitten, dark reader, cookie remover, canvas blocker-fingerprint protect, violent monkey, and a few others. Also can load other ad filters.

That's one of the catches even if he were to have done so right after the debate mess. There is relatively little time to gather support and convince people to back anyone beyond the "We all have to come together to prevent him from being elected again." And that is assuming if he drops out there isn't a half dozen or more folks suddenly throwing their hat into the ring. This may be a screwed either way it plays out.
