A couple of these done yesterday. This one in particular took WAY longer than I care to admit. The fates were having none of it. Personal experience. Swap/fire the .22lr every month or two, especially if you pocket carry. Moisture destroys the rounds.
Had to swap to .22mag (better sealed round).

One Gallon of Basic Mead:
3lbs Honey
2g yeast
Heat water to 100f, dissolve honey. Cool to 70f and add hydrated yeast
Ferment for 3 weeks. Rack and rest for 3 weeks. Bottle and sit for 2 weeks.
