Isn’t Parker Lewis still a bit negative on NOSTR?! He gets a pass though, he’s one of the best Bitcoiners out there. I know @npub1guh…6hjy and @npub1qny…95gx were trying to show him the light! I could be wrong, but I think he thought the focus should remain on Bitcoin, not NOSTR, and he wasn’t convinced of the symbiosis between the two…

Quick question:
Is it that you cannot Zap a post on Damus any more, because Apple insisted that it be stopped??
But that people can still Zap on other clients, and so that’s what shows up on Damus where it shows posts as having been Zapped??
Is that right??

I’m confused? 🤔 It’s been a while since I’ve been on Damus (my bad…), but I thought Apple stopped people from Zapping individual posts (but general tipping via user profile was still ok)??
But looking at some posts it seems individual posts do still have Zaps??
But I can’t see how to do a Zap for a post now?!
Any help / guidance will be appreciated!
(Ps I was a v early adopter, I used to sling Zaps round like a fiend back in the day!)

Agreed. I think I’m right in recalling that even The Bitcoin Standard barely even mentions Bitcoin until one of the later chapters. Much more time is devoted to describing the problem, and relatively little to Bitcoin itself, notwithstanding the title of the book.
