Seventeen years ago I left Mordor and moved to Middle-earth.
People in Finland (an EU country and Eurozone member already then) said it was a dramatic move.

Low time preference hits different.
Why?
Bitcoin’s value proposition is not a perpetual price rally to the moon, but a predictable rule set and settlement/clearing independent of central authority, 24/7/365.
Bitcoin’s security model, ten-minute final settlement, decentralized governance, and consensus do not weaken just because the market price falls. Mining, in turn, ultimately adapts to price changes through difficulty adjustments.
Price cycles are an empirically observed, “stylized” feature. They are not “true” in the same sense as the statement “The Earth orbits the Sun.” Price movement or the breaking of some chart pattern is therefore not evidence of (non)success. Bitcoin is not a short-term risk-off hedge, but a long-term counterpart to the fiat standard, in which supply flexes endlessly according to political decisions (elastic vs. inelastic supply). The expectation that Bitcoin must rise right now (because it just has to, for whatever reasons) is a sign of a ve-ery short time horizon. Many have made that same mistake, unfortunately—but to each their own.
Study #bitcoin.
PS. Mainstream adoption does not negate Bitcoin’s absolute scarcity. ETFs do not make Bitcoin less scarce, because such products fundamentally change the form of ownership (or its direction/weighting, cf. short products, so-called premium income products, etc.). The claim that financial products based on Bitcoin somehow weaken the significance of its scarcity is a conceptual error: supply is not governed by any investment instrument, but by a precise protocol.
PPS. The “risk list” compiled in the article—from quantum computers to the unwinding of Bitcoin balance sheets—is the strangest horror gallery of the past year (and it’s only February). Quantum computers, Epstein documents, and Bitcoin balance sheets are bundled into the same basket without any proper background, scale, time horizon, or probabilities.

RWA tokenization is a scam.
Not a bug.
A feature.
Real World Asset tokenization is being sold as “innovation.”
In reality, it’s the final enclosure of private property.
As outlined by David Rogers Webb in The Great Taking, the goal is simple: convert real assets into financial instruments that can be rehypothecated, seized, frozen, or “restructured” in a systemic crisis.
Tokenizing RWAs does not give you ownership.
It gives you a claim on a claim, wrapped in smart-contract theater.
If you don’t control the asset at the base layer, you don’t own it.
You are a creditor, and creditors get wiped.
Why is BlackRock pushing this so hard?
Because Larry Fink (also co-Head of WEF) understands something retail doesn’t:
control the ledger, control the world.
BlackRock doesn’t want decentralization.
It wants programmable compliance.
Tokenized assets mean:
instant freezes
instant confiscation
instant capital controls
instant bail-ins
All under the banner of “efficiency.”
This fits perfectly with the World Economic Forum worldview:
You’ll own nothing and be happy.
Not because ownership disappears.
But because ownership becomes conditional.
RWA tokenization is financial feudalism
Your house becomes a token.
Your stocks become a token.
Your bonds become a token.
Every token lives inside a system with:
issuers
custodians
validators
regulators
Miss a rule?
Break a policy?
Wrong opinion at the wrong time?
Access revoked.
That is not progress.
That is digital serfdom.
Bitcoin is the escape hatch
This is why Bitcoin terrifies them.
Bitcoin is:
bearer asset
permissionless
censorship resistant
decentralized digital scarcity
No issuer.
No custodian.
No counterparty.
No middleman to trust.
If you hold your keys, you own it.
Not “legally.”
Practically.
Physically.
Cryptographically.
Bitcoin cannot be tokenized into submission.
The choice is clear
RWA tokenization is about financial control.
Bitcoin is about financial sovereignty.
One makes you legible, manageable, and disposable.
The other makes you free.
They are pushing RWA tokenization because they know what’s coming.
And they don’t want you to escape it.
Choose accordingly.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the current Bitcoin FUD is getting ridiculous.
Quantum computers are “about to break Bitcoin.”
Node wars are “about to split the network.”
And now apparently Epstein was Satoshi.
Cool. Sure. Why not.
I’ve watched this space long enough to notice a pattern:
whenever Bitcoin keeps quietly working, the stories get louder and dumber.
Because if you can’t attack the code, you attack the narrative.
If you can’t break the network, you try to confuse the people.
Meanwhile, nothing actually changes.
Blocks keep coming.
Nodes keep validating.
No emergency meeting.
No leader.
There is no reset button. Just boring, relentless consistency.
And yeah, sometimes it’s exhausting. Watching the same fear cycles get recycled with new buzzwords. Watching smart people get dragged into nonsense debates that don’t matter.
But there’s also something comforting about it.
All this noise exists because Bitcoin is still here. Still growing. Still threatening systems that rely on trust, authority, and amnesia.
The FUD isn’t a sign of weakness.
It’s a sign we’re closer than they’d like.
Same protocol.
Same rules.
Same outcome.
We’re not early anymore.
We’re just right - and the world is slowly catching up.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how wars are described.
“Invasion.”
“Terrorism.”
“Liberation.”
“Self-defense.”
Same violence. Different labels. It depends which mainstream media channel you are watching.
At some point I stopped arguing about words and started asking a simpler question: who’s paying for this?
Because wars don’t really start with ideology. They start when someone figures out how to fund them without asking permission.
🇷🇺 Russia can keep rolling tanks because rubles can be printed and because someone is always willing to buy their commodities.
🇺🇸 The US can “liBeRatE” half the planet because the dollar printer never sleeps and, conveniently, it’s often where oil, pipelines, or strategic leverage happen to be.
🇮🇱 Israel can fight indefinitely because funding is externalized and guaranteed.
🇵🇸 Palestinians get labeled terrorists because they don’t control the narrative or the money behind it.
That’s the part nobody likes to say out loud.
Fiat money makes all of this possible. Not morally. Mechanically.
Most people don’t wake up wanting war. They want stability, safety, and a future for their kids.
But fiat systems let politicians bypass that instinct. No upfront cost. No real sacrifice. Just debt pushed forward and a story wrapped around it.
Inflation is how you pay without noticing.
Debt is how the bill gets delayed.
Propaganda is how it’s justified.
That’s how war becomes background noise.
Bitcoin changed how I see this.
Not as a slogan. Not as a flag. As a constraint.
Hard money doesn’t care about your justifications. It doesn’t care who you call the good guy. It only asks one question: can you actually afford this?
Under a Bitcoin standard, wars don’t disappear. They become honest. Immediately expensive. Politically toxic.
You want a war? Fine. Tax people now. Take real money now. Don’t hide it behind inflation and future debt. Watch how fast enthusiasm evaporates once the cost is real.
That’s why Bitcoin isn’t a weapon. It’s a brake.
A brake on empires.
A brake on double standards.
A brake on endless “emergencies” that always seem to need bombs and never audits.
Bitcoin doesn’t promise peace.
It just makes lying about war too expensive to keep doing.

Back in 2017, researchers at the Bank of Finland called Bitcoin something unusual: a revolutionary monopoly protocol.
Their point was simple. You can’t really regulate it because no one is in charge. The rules are baked in, and no central authority gets to change them.
They also noted that transaction fees aren’t dictated by miners or any central body. Users decide what they’re willing to pay, which makes top-down control basically impossible.
That’s the core of Bitcoin’s resilience. Consensus, not permission, keeps the network running and protects it from being bent, captured, or shut down.
