What does the well-known hymn Be Thou My Vision have to do with St. Patrick?
Well, the lyrics are set to an Irish folk tune named Slane, after the Hill of Slane in Co Meath, where St. Patrick lit the first Paschal fire, a symbol of the resurrection, in defiance the pagan High King Laoghaire.
