rolling out of bed and into the "office" i see 6 meetings on the board 4 of which are with different teams doing this exact thing you describe. the totality will take about 5 hours of my day. fill in an hour for lunch, and maybe a couple hours of hacking on my own projects i'd say i get about 30 minutes of work done a day

thank you for the information. i prefer usenet myself, it's what i grew up on. fediverse is pretty decent but i find better conversations in bbs/usenet format in general. especially with the topic is focused vs a tarpit on something like reddit which imo is centralized garbage

> he’s somebody oppressing minority groups, including his own staff,
that's a horrible thing, truly. is this in relation to the decrease in censorship on facebook and the removal of fact-checkers or something else?
> while being not in a minority
he's autistic and jewish last i checked. doesn't the current world see those groups as minorities?
> and rich.
what if i were rich and in three minority groups? what would that make me?
i pose all of this because i'm not sure how the watch ties into anything.

what does the watch have to do with anything? or is this a "eat the rich" type comment?
at least the strap matches his tan.

sure, on youtube for a vice documentary of 1990s warehouse parties. nobody is going solo on a 5lb tank.

each time you use it without an oxygen cut you destroy brain cells. just go to the dentist more if you want a cheap thrill

as you likely know much of it is theater. often you'll see an org make really smart and sustainable decisions followed by the inverse which ends up letting the guy use their restroom.

agreed. it baffles me after decades how people can be so reactive. actually it doesn't baffle me. this is all by design im simply not taking advantage of the gratis chaos.
as for the badges. there is half truth to this. i do this for a living on the security side breaking into companies that hire me to do so legally. i have lawyers they have lawyers. and yes i use their bathrooms.

i'm itching to see your build list on this one, newt. years ago i ran one "workstation" which was a beast and follow a similar pattern of taking care of everything. times changed, budgets changed, power costs in my region changed and i started shifting things around a bit. however with some of the newer (meaning used 1-2 gen backward) hardware it's more efficient so having a "gibson" under your desk is not as problematic as it may have been for me back then.
@npub143y…tdru that's pretty clever with the dlna server in play did you ever go down the path of jellyfin or plex? i had, with varying results.
