Once in a blue moon, a stray thought slips through and the meaning is gone. I put my face back on, I press my lips shut, braced for a fight, I don't dream about anything anymore. Up on the big billboards: a whole lot of nothing. Once in a blue moon, I let a stray thought in.

hm, yeah, true. I guess this money could be invested into making more space and to accept more people instead. but well that's just theorizing, no change will ever happen in this bitch of a world

well I am more in favor of taking it case-to-case because scenarios can be so difficult to predict that written down rules are just giving wrong decisions

Let's be real, all of us are gonna eventually die, and time before that happens is often inevitably just progressively increasing suffering due to traumas, our own physical bodies, and external world. Fear of death and false beliefs of how everything is gonna get better is the only thing that's keeping all people alive, but that isn't a good thing. I personally stopped discouraging suicidal people, because I know everything that's ahead of them is most likely just suffering, I would feel better if they experienced the eternal peace earlier. And so I keep internalising, that I also wish to experience it earlier, right when my death would no longer could cause pain in others.

I keep imagining a bullet going through my head, shooting my own brain out right when I close my eyes and prepare to go to sleep. The image of it happening is on repeat, I kill myself, undo, do it again. And not even bad feelings about it, it just a new normal. Psychology is a weird thing.

yeah but on the other hand all of these programs would need to implement clients for all these protocols, any part of ~~linux~~ GNU afaik doesn't give them any convenient way to interface with them that easily (outside of mounting). I keep stuff set in /etc/fstab so i just do eg. mount /mnt/someremotething and it knows what to do

This is a common issue so I just gave up and mount remote stuff if possible in /mnt as it mimics a regular filesystem for these programs

I don't know what country you are in so I can't really suggest anything, if you are in US I don't know anything ab it :/ But if she threatens to kill her children that's a bit more dangerous than homelessness? It's up to you to decide, I'm sorry
