funnily enough they are the same people, often, who will say "X thing is *illegal* so it mustn't be happening/should be punished" when it is in fact happening and not being punished

so i have been using bluesky mainly because the academics went there and i need to keep an eye on higher ed stuff in the political shitshow
bluesky went mostly down yesterday (?). i'm on a blacksky part of the architecture (myatproto.social). it now appears to have logged me out and says that to log i have to verify age. which i don't want to do, and i had thought i'd seen rudy say blacksky wouldn't ever ask for that
anyone know WTH is going on??
