Finally getting to read Tim’s This Is For Everyone. One of the more calming things I have done lately.
I’m listening to vinyls, reading books and taking Polaroids. Wonder if this is the counter-reaction to anything? 🤔😅
I ditched most social media long ago. I’ve stopped most streaming. I’ve dropped online news due to the new pay or loose your privacy models.
Very much online still 🙈

Your talk was wonderful! I’m so glad I got to see two of your talks in one week 🥳
I love how you remind us that many of our assumptions about users are wrong, like that it’s easy to think that screen reader users don’t care about light and dark mode. 🙏
I have a feeling that you will have to come back and hold another version of that talk later if we get more color-scheme things 🤩

I need to switch sources for `<picture>` and `<video>` element based on the used color scheme.
It needs to work in html before css has loaded, so I think either reusing `prefers-color-scheme` or speccing a new media feature like `used-color-scheme` would be necessary. 🤔

There's discussion on letting `<meta name=color-scheme>` have effect on the `prefers-color-scheme` media query again. 🚀
This would allow us to use the media query to select appropriate images based on the _used_ color-scheme on the page.
This would be very useful, as it is not possible to provide media sources that match the color scheme today.
I don't care whether we reuse `prefers-color-scheme`, or if we create a new meda feature like `used-color-scheme` though.

I'm building a form with a currency input, and I'm stumped that `<input>` still doesn't have support for prefixes or suffixes, not to mention formatting.
Fortunately @npub1al7…kh5q has opened an issue over in the WHATWG html repo with a thorough description of the use case 🙌
