Yeah i get your point, . The problem is that most points can be argued in both way and communities often get lost in nuance and argue which side has the most correct take.
You can get lost on point of what is and what isn’t spam from the perspective of every side.

Been pondering these statements today.
The question i have to ask, is what problems does he think he is solving by disrupting the software development industry ?
Was there some kind of problem within the industry that wasn't producing code fast enough?
don't get me wrong, i make use of AI daily. i get it to churn out code, and to be honest churning out code has never been a problem in the software industry per se. Software for intents and purposes has always fundamentally been worthless.
admittedly one of the biggest problems in software development, has always been predominantly focused around project management and unlocking the perceived value stream of software projects.
On average, 75% of software delivery projects fail, almost none of them due to the speed of code being delivered. Most software project fail for a myriad of different reasons, none of them really focused around the speed of coding.
i suppose in some sense, having AI generate the code quicker, we can reduce the speed at which we reach failure.
I'm really perplexed at what problem we're actually solving with this elimination. Do we have some bench mark we can use to measure what success actually looks like,
I accept Software Developers, may in many instances be nothing more than the Coach Builders before the motor car came about. However, its not exactly clear what defines success.

I am all to well aware of sanctions on unfavourable states, having experienced them directly. I grew up in a state that was considered unfavourable, and had sanctions imposed on it because it did not suit the narrative of the supposed do gooders.
There will always be Yin and Yang of policy, the only real outcome of any policy is ultimately failure, primarily because there will always be conflicting perceptions of what the final outcomes should be, or even could be.

Its some what of a fallacy, to say that you can only participate in democracy every 4 years. In fact, I would say that is completely an incorrect perception.
The reality is true democratic participation requires more than just 1 vote every 4 years. You are more than free, to join and participate in any of your preferred political parties, working at a local level within your chosen political party to bring about and enthuse change, and actually participating within your own party elections, campaigns and functions in general.
You can be the change and just do things to bring about change.

It is not the state that is the problem, rather it is the size of the state that is the problem.
If left unchecked and uncontrolled the size of the state will grow to fill whatever void or vacuum you leave for it to grow.
Your non participation in a state, does not halt or contain its growth it will only grow beyond your non participation and ultimately it will control you whether you acknowledge its legitimacy or not.
Leaving decisions of others to whether the state will grow or not , is not galaxy brain material, in fact it is rather naive, because others will always elect to opt for state growth, merely because of the perceived benefits.

Another fundamental flaw of the big AI revolution is, where are these AI companies going to generate all this massive revenue required to pay back all this debt or even cover the costs of compute , if nobody is earning any money to pay for all the goods and services that are being produced.

If AI takes all the jobs in companies that produce goods that are dependent on people with jobs to buy, how are companies going to sell goods that AI has produced?
All these subscription based services that require people with jobs to pay for, are going to go first.

I don’t just walk into any house in my village and make myself a cup of tea and help myself to biscuits , not through fear of persecution by the state or the police or courts etc.
We do this from the learned behaviour of culture , and the perception of what is considered right or wrong.
My neighbour does not need to be protected by the state, but rather more on the reliance that I adopt and adhere to these cultural norms.
We would like to think that the state
