Yeah, I don't think many understand "living in the moment" was never meant to be applied to out entire daily life, and certainly not forever.
I know covid is causing brain problems and every time we are infected it increases the damage. I've talked with researchers who offer stats showing since the start of covid, for example traffic accidents have increased substantially. It's not from being isolated, it's structural changes in the brain.

A new report from global energy think tank Ember says batteries have officially hit the price point that lets solar power deliver affordable electricity almost every hour of the year in the sunniest parts of the world.
The study looked at hourly solar data from 12 cities and found that in sun-soaked places like Las Vegas, you could pair 6 gigawatts (GW) of solar panels with 17 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of batteries and get a steady 1 GW of power nearly 24/7. The cost? Just $104 per megawatt-hour (MWh) based on average global prices for solar and batteries in 2024. That’s a 22% drop in a year and cheaper than new coal ($118/MWh) and nuclear ($182/MWh) in many regions.

It's not that easy. They are trained to detect lies, and AI can detect when your are anxious. (yes, it is a thing, some Canadian hospitals are planning to use it to reduce violence) Also, our internet runs through the US and they might pick up chatter and have a file on you.
Not worth the risk of ending up in a prison.

Let me get this straight.
Two cops decide to take advantage of a "too good to be true" side deal, realize that the item in question was counterfeit, possibly the seller was unaware of this, , and the cops got their money back, and the young Black man died after one cop attacked him. The cop gets 12 months parole. for murder.
Does that sound correct? If so how is this different from US style police killing?

I am from the west coast. I was born in BC. I camped in provincial parks and backpacked off trail, in all seasons.
Perhaps your definition of abuse in campgrounds is different than mine. McMotor homes and trailers blasting TVs and stereos is abuse. Leaving garbage/litter strewn wherever is abuse. (It happens on hiking trails as well...garbage everywhere!)Loud partying is abuse.
The outdoors is supposed to be a break from the mayhem of city life, a respite, not a place to transl;pant the same stressful issues of city life.
