I hate the entire medical community in the US. It’s all bullshit. No one cares what happens to you. It’s an insurance mill. The doctors are just trying to get paid. It’s entirely unprofessional and hinges on the dipshits they hire to do administrative work. They have no medical training and run the whole thing like gossipy teenagers foldering sweaters at the Gap.
It’s not one or two. It’s across the board. Nothing like arrogant and clueless to instill confidence.

This is a prime example of too many options. If I was running Starbucks I’d get rid of all the food, limit the menu to 20 items and allow minimal customizations. Starting with cow milk and that’s it. You want something else, go somewhere else. No substitutions but you could change up seasonal offerings.

Donald Trump talks about Hannibal Lecter because he 100% thinks that asylum seekers are somehow connected to insane asylums, because they use the same word.
He thinks all the refugees coming to the southern border were recently released from psychiatric institutions and are therefore dangerous.

I’m too much of a hoarder to ever willingly give up an organ I’m still using. I have trouble getting rid of boxes that gear come in, so I’m not about to give up a kidney just because I have two of them. There’s a reason we have two of them. I’m a big “just in case” kind of a guy. You never know.

It’s hard to write about politics these days. I don’t see any point in writing glowing, Pollyanna remarks about how wonderful the Democrats are. They’re just people. Flawed and oddly ambitious. I also don’t see any point in elaborating on how awful MagaWorld are, because again, what’s the point? Who would I be talking to? If I don’t have anything new to say, or at least an original perspective, it’s pointless.
We’re good. They’re bad. You either agree with me or you don’t. Nothing’s changing.

Has anyone had any luck with Ghost? I need to relocate. Substack is a big deal, but it looks like shit. I can’t stomach that. I am so used to Medium. I publish to three different publications that I own and manage.
I already have a website (multiple in fact). I could add a paywall and charge for subscriptions. Isn’t that all these platforms are? Medium is a sort of profit sharing model based on readership, but they brought an audience to you.

I didn’t vote for Hillary in the primary. I didn’t vote for Joe either. I wanted Bernie. But that’s not who I got so I voted for the Dem Nominee.
We know Biden beat Trump, but that doesn’t mean he was the only one who could. The party manipulates the voting order to their own benefit. We don’t all vote on the same day for the candidate we want.
But all that is academic because we have a single candidate. It’s ride or die.
