The prevalence of suicide among Israeli soldiers reveals how deadly awareness can be. The suicides have proliferated at a later stage in the genocide, when soldiers have started to realize that they have lied to themselves.

Cities are the most complex product of human societies.

On the Egypt-Palestine Connection
Every single turning point in the history of Egyptian dissent has been either directly or indirectly linked to the Palestinian cause.
When Egyptians see Palestinians resisting, they tend to ask questions: Why is our government collaborating with Israel? This sentiment quickly turns into anti-regime dissent in the country.
That’s why Egyptian regimes hate Palestinians and fear domestic solidarity and mobilizing over Palestine. That's why during the First Intifada, Safwat al-Sharif issued directives to television stations to censor news about the uprising because it was inflaming Egyptian university campuses at the time.

Even if made real, European recognition of Palestine has often been symbolic and inconsistent—some states recognized Palestine during the Cold War but later revoked or undermined it (e.g., Czech Republic, Hungary), demonstrating how recognition without sanctions or coherent policy is hollow. Meanwhile, recent recognition by Ireland reveals the risk of political opportunism. Ireland used its recognition of Palestine to delay effectuating a settlement trade ban as well as prohibiting the transit of weapons or divesting from Israeli bonds.

So we've been fed the lie about the sanctity that with which they hold the lives of their soldiers, the lives of their dead, that Israel cannot withstand the kind of losses that other countries can.
