Ok, just to get this straight in my own head....
Nog loaned Sisko's desk to Al Lorenzo, the Chief of Operations on Decos Prime (so he can take pictures of it for his collection of pictures of the desks of famous Starfleet Captains).
Lorenzo is giving Nog and O'Brien an induction modulator. The USS Musashi needs one.
The Musashi is giving them a phaser emitter. The USS Sentinel needs one.
The Sentinel has the extra Graviton Stabilizer that is required to repair the Defiant.

My first watch of SG-1 continues. A thread....
Just when I think that the last episode I watched was the best episode of Season 1, I have the same thing to say about the next episode. That is the case about this episode.....wow! Very enjoyable episode about some Teal'c backstory and a family we never knew he had.
The attempt to remove Teal'c's Goa'uld larva is unsuccessful and proves that the Goa'uld is Teal'c's immune system. I like how Jack refers to it as "Junior".
Jack learns that Teal'c has a son (Rya'c) and wife that he left behind on Chulak. Jack becomes a bit upset with Teal'c for not previously disclosing this info.
Jack additionally learns that Rya'c is about to "undergo the ceremony of implantation, the Prim'ta, they day when a young boy receives his frist Goa'uld symbiote and becomes a true Jaffa".
This is something that Teal'c doesn't want to happen because this is how the Goa'uld enslave the Jaffa, and Teal'c is adamant that is son will not become a slave to false gods.
Jack, Sam and Daniel try to convince Hammond to authorize a return mission to Chulak, but Hammond is suspicious of their reason and says "This is not my first barbecue" (great line).
Jack finally tells Hammond about Teal'c's family and tries to convince him to authorize the mission. "When Teal'c saved our lives on Chulak, he gave up his family, sir. Don't you think we owe him....

Just re-watched DS9 E708 "The Siege of AR-558". This is some of the most intense, emotionally wrenching storyline that we've seen on DS9. I've always thought of this episode as something that could have been a feature length movie.

And then there's Georgiou's foot getting stuck in the wall. She taps her phase pod briefly to get her foot unstuck. Wouldn't that hurt....like a lot?

The phase pods that Georgiou and San (which we didn't know at the time because he was dressed in the black suit and full head mask) used during their fight for Dada Noe's case raised a few questions in my head.
Don't each of their phase pods need to be set to the same wavelength in order for them to be able to touch each other? If so, how did San know what wavelength Georgio's phase pod was set to?
Georgiou does say to Dada Noe "A client of mine gave it to me as a gift" (referring to the phase pod she attaches to herself).

Having watched the Section 31 movie shortly after it dropped, I now find myself on social media looking at reviews from people who have watched the movie.
A lot of the negative reviews on social media talk about the lack of Star Trek lore in the movie. Does every Star Trek movie need to be steeped in deep Star Trek lore? I think some people went into this movie expecting something very specific and were therefore disappointed. I went in with no expectations and found myself enjoying the ride (I didn't even watch any of the trailers).
Reading the fan reviews on social media, you will see a post from someone who hated it (I've even seen some posts from people saying the movie was so bad that they couldn't finish watching it). And then right after that review you see a post from someone who loved it. It seems to be one extreme or the other for the people who have seen the movie so far.
We are all entitled to our opinions. Just some observations on this early Friday morning.

The movie dropped early so I'm done watching it for the first time already.
It's not your typical Star Trek movie. I found it giving off Ocean's 11, Tower Heist, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: The Bad Batch and Solo: A Star Wars Story vibes. I know that sounds weird, but I'll elaborate more on my detailed thoughts toot later (I'll watch it again a couple of times before putting this together and probably wait a few days to post this).
This is an action movie with a Star Trek title, and if you accept it as that, you'll have a great time watching. There are a few places where you begin to get tibits of Star Trek feels, but then it's back to the action.
The cast was great and I found the group of characters pretty darn interesting.
There were a few cringe moments for me (which I'll elaborate on later).
The soundtrack wasn't a typical Star Trek movie soundtrack (with the sweeping emotional ups and downs). The only place where we here the familiar theme music is at the end.
There are those that will say this isn't the Star Trek movie we are used to seeing and they are right. I went in with no expections whatsover and ended up really enjoying the movie. As just simple entertainment, I would give it 3 out of 4 stars.
There is a lot to take in and I'm still processing it all.

I'm going to pick Hologram Janeway's monologue at the end of Prodigy E110 - "A Moral Star, Part 2". I'm probably stretching this one using the hologram version of Janeway, but this monologue is just too good to pass up.
