These are the two magnetic ones I bought. The aces are definitely quieter and it’s fun to be careful to keep them quiet. The tapes are definitely louder with the spinning centers (those were what my therapist noticed :) but I seriously LOVE them. They are so well made and designed. Also nostalgic 😆 so all this to say, ZERO complaints. Keep up the amazing work!

in the revision I am working on today, I cite a former professor I knew at Cincinnati. He passed away a couple of years ago at 78 and I did not have the chance to talk with him about how our interests converged. Reading comments on his obituary, I learned another professor from UC (who I knew much better) had also passed away. This prof was on my dissertation committee and I remember his class and mentorship well. He was 51. A year older than I am now. I don't know how to think about this... there are a lot of emotions...

Yahoo recently reduced the free inbox size from 1Tb to 20 Gb. Even after deleting 100,000+ emails, I’m still over the limit. There’s just no point in keeping this trash account anymore… it’s been 24 years, but it’s time to move on.
