PSA: The No Agenda Stream is back online as are all other services! WOO... A monumental list of updates, fixes and improvements that people will probably not even notice - but after a month of testing, building and improving, our servers will run much more smoothly. I'm proud!
Finally running our manually configured kernel, podman instead of docker, and a series of improvements to how the systems boot. All to make the experience for you, our dear listener, as good as possible!

Very excited to report that I've finally managed to make our stream software compatible with Liquidsoap 2.3.1. I switched from the old 1.4.1 to the new version just before today's Two Hour Folk Hour livestream started and everything is running smoothly!

hey Cameron thanks, yeah, it's much better than a couple months ago, but still dealing with some ups and downs. I'm over the worst part of Crohn's and I hope I'll never have to go through that again, what a ride. Health wise I do keep having to battle one thing after another, so not out of the woods yet.
ipfs mem usage is really high, approx 40%, 50% on each 64G server. It's one of the high score players in htop.. I'm considering to cap its memory inside a virtual container of sorts.

One of the first things one learns when running a social network, usually the hard way, is that there are actual people that thrive on upsetting as many people as possible, and on trying to destroy the good things others have spent time building.
But that's not a surprise.
What IS surprising to me however is that so many people in our circles are vulnerable to this type of exploit. I even see some querulants trying to convince others that "ZeroNode will fall."
