if anyone knows of places that still need people to write code by hand, please let me know. my refusal to use ai is making me feel unemployable (especially in this country where nobody makes or does anything). even if i was to engage with these job listings genuinely, what skill set is "ai"? they don't say what jobs are anymore. skills: ai. job description: working with ai. company: ai first startup. description of how great it is to work there written by a machine that never has and never will

hi #fedihired i'm looking for part time/contract work (remote/sydney). i'm most interested in embedded systems, linux driver dev/porting and game dev, but i can do many things with computers. absolutely no ai. i like working on things that spark joy and improve the lives of people, especially if it's open source. for the last year I've been working with MNT doing a mix of web development and driver porting for the reform, to give an idea of what i've been doing lately. boosts welcome. ty! :3

Found a photo from 2 years ago of my prototype Tangara. Cool to look back on it now, we were still figuring out a lot back then.

some images from my day of assembling tangaras. picture this 77 times. still many more to go. i only had to redo one faceplate assembly due to an errant chungus hair under the screen protector.

i also did this to practice drawing curves, i did all the circles by hand to try get the shapes right with minimal jaggies. pixel art feels less like drawing and more like a puzzle sometimes, i like it for that
