Yes, it looks like it is also not working fine. After few tires hubby was able to login itself on his phone with the default Mastodon app. But after a while of browsing the app crashes as well and then force closes each time he wants to start it again.

Hi there. There's is some bug in the Moshidon app that prevents me from authorizing it by login. The app is constantly force closing and I can't get through the authorization screen. Nothing helps. Tried to clear the cache, data, reinstalling it from scratch but without any success. Can you please look at the issue an somehow fix it? Thank you in advance. 😘

By default yes, but there is an option in settings to change it as the user wish. Molly is a FOSS type of fork without all the proprietary trash included, like google services, closed blobs etc. The only one "downside" is the need to set up some external notifications service, because of the lack of google's. But that's not some hard thing to do. There are plenty of such, and much more privacy friendly, actually available. For other systems there are also foss variants of original Signal.

Well, not entirely. Creators have the right to monetize their works, and that's been the norm since the dawn of time. They can also make a living from it. And that's perfectly fine, too. The problem with yt is that that this company is forcefully trying to monopolize this particular market. That's also the issue with entire google. They acting like typical parasites. Well.. Yt together with the parasitic google that's only one thing. The real problem is that, that the creators don't have any reasonable alternatives to move from yt. Privacy friendly ones and in the same time allowing to monetize content somehow nice, cool, not intrusive way. That's why even decent people I know still stick their asses with the junky yt. Because that platform is their source of income. Yeap, money thing, but still very understandable topic. There's no option.

Well.. gladly, but not trough ko-fi. Sadly due to their new TOS and policy changes I am unable to use this service. They are very unfriendly to any type of adultwork, sexwork and jobs that nature. Well.. Not exactly cleaner nor better etc. Easier to produce yes. Longevity also yes it is there. But this is it for pro. There are plenty of bad contra. That statement about protecting isn't actually truth. Even watermarking don't stop content thieves from removing watermarks pretty easily from any picture. There are plenty of apps for doing that together with the shitty ai powered ones as well.
If you really want to protect your images from any fraud, just don't publish them nowhere. There's unfortunately no other way to keep them safe today.

Yes I can confirm that. Not only the design and look. Their used to be very well quality is no more. Actually most of the products are very junky. This underwear simply scratches the skin, it feels stiff, uncomfortable and somehow cheap-market a like. In contrast to the prices, which have gone up significantly. Same as it is now with Cervin. They used to have a lot of good products. Nylons, garters, and such, but after changes in the company's management, the quality went very downhill

Well.. Every app did have its own userbase. And that's fairly normal and good. Some people doesn't need to have plenty of complex features nor fancy options, just to be able to do simple tasks they want. But there are also such who do want something more advanced or being dedicated to the pro level of users. They will be paying attention to software like DaVinci Resolve and similar complete solutions. And that's very okay as well. To each according to his needs and wishes.

My question is: why I am unable to send any type of pictures nor movies to my contacts on SimpleX on Android? Seems like this problem still remains even in the latest version of the app. I can choose some pic from my gallery, but after I tap on it nothing happens, except for returning to chat window without any effects. I can send it trough the desktop app connected with my phone and account on it. But not directly from the phone. That's pretty strange and very annoying.

Besides what my husband mentioned yesterday, there is one more thing that can cause mischief when combining different services. Namely 2FA, if it is enabled on these accounts, especially this this one poorly and buggy made by Google. This can constantly make people's lives more "pleasant". Try to turn this off for a while and repeat all the logouts/logins again. It is not a bad idea to replace it with the hardware based MFA, like YubiKey for example.

Martin is right. Privileges are broken. If you can't change them back by the command he written, it means that something block you from that because this directory is in use. Try to log out all users and log in only on the one account on this laptop. Next try this command once again from the terminal. If works do full reboot. If not only from the recovery terminal or TTY you will be able to change the ownership. When the system alone and none of the users are is logged into.

Hi. I can understand knowledge sharing and so on. But there is an issue with this automated reposting. Why? Because some of the content shared by the people even publicly is still an copyrighted one material. And in that case you are obliged by the law letter to first asking for permission to use, reshare and such things. Not necessarily failed. Most pages are built with lots of "ready to go" components and those aren't in many cases designed with the impaired people in mind. I saw plenty of websites totally unusable for such persons. Especially the gov driven ones which should be done properly and for all.
