This was discussed #greenparty 💚 meeting yesterday, so many people used to say 'I'd vote Green, if I thought they had a chance of winning'
I admit to being one of those for many years, but no more, Labour have shifted the
Overton window so much further to the right than I ever thought possible! They will never win me back,

I don't think I talk 'posh' as a Northerner who has moved around a bit, my accent flexes! If I'm with friends and family, I speak very differently to when I'm speaking to a Dr, or any professional. If I want to assert myself I can be very clear with a neutral accent!
I guess you might call it 'code shifting' something I know lots of POC have to adopt,

Finally finished this little baby jacket, it actually didn't take long, I have frogged it at least half a dozen times trying to get the pattern right, if I hadn't done that it would probably have been done in a couple of nights! We don't know what she's having yet! But either way I think gender neutral is the best way to go!
I tried not to gender my kids!
But with Ms DT particularly nature won out! She loved pretty pink things growing up!

I have recently been experiencing some pretty scary dreams,
I dream I'm awake, but I know I'm not, an increasing sense of panic sets in, I can feel myself thrashing about trying to scream, until Mr DT wakes me up!
Last night was worse than normal, I dreamt I was in our old home we haven't lived there for 17 years, I knew it was the wrong place cos the bedroom window was on the wrong side!
There was a door I felt urged to go through, but I knew if I did it would lead to somewhere I really didn't want to be!!
I don't usually put much store in dreams but these are getting more frequent, and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to wake up!!!
I probably just need to get over myself 🤣🤣

The corner squares are nearly complete, they're quite small! And progress is slow I think I said previously that the cotton yarn is prone to splitting so extra care is needed!
It's certainly giving me something else to think about!
