I'm also not keen on getting a new pressure cooker as there is no guarantee that I'm not going to be put in this situation again thanks to all companies going down the inbuilt obsolescence road.

Having a bit of a dilemma.
I have a pressure cooker that I've owned for 20 years. Love it and use it on a weekly basis.
The seal needs replacing. This is the third time I've needed to replace it, but considering how often I use it that makes sense.
The company that made it is WMF and in the UK I now can't find a replacement. Even searching overseas it seems to be that they are discontinuing that sized ring. Its a very specific thickness and shape. (product number WMF 37.8947.9903 (20cm))
I've found one website that seems to do it, but don't recognise it as a brand and my german is not good enough to know if it is a proper website.

Any help/advice in getting a replacement gasket gratefully received.

I'm a member of Metro Bank and recently had to deal with their AI on the phone.
It was a complete waste of my time, kept on misunderstanding me and in the end I just grey rocked it and repeated that I wanted to talk a person.
After said lovely person helped me with what I wanted, I also asked to raise a complaint about the shittyness of their AI.
My complaint was upheld.
I recommend each time you come across shit AI that is wasting your time to raise a complaint. The more people that push back against this the better. It also helps people inside the company to push back against it as well.
I also got apology in the form of money.

Q2: Where do you do your craft or making? What sort of space is it? Let’s see some photos of workstations, if you want to share.
A2. I don't have a specific place to craft, my knitting is anywhere I can sit down. For making clothes its the dining table if it is clear or the floor if it is clear. Any DIY is in the garden or kitchen depending on how big/messy the project is.
