During the “Block everything” protest in France today, activists tried to storm and occupy the Gare du Nord, the busiest train station in Europe. Police reacted with force and pepper sprayed and injured transit passengers before locking down the station. #BloquonsTout #10septembre

Breaking news from Atlanta - Judge Kevin Farmer just indicated he would imminently dismiss the RICO case against the 61 #StopCopCity defendants after finding the Georgia Attorney General wasn’t authorized to bring the case due to a lack of formal authorization for ‘concurrent jurisdiction’ from the Governor.
The ruling will likely be appealed and for now other counts in the case remain but will continue to be aggressively contested by the defense.

Prosecutors also explained, at length, that “the anarchist ideology” also includes violence, including violence targeting law enforcement.
The indictment did not include any statistics about the number of people believed to have been harmed or killed by anarchists.
The number of people killed each year by law enforcement, on the other hand, is well known.

According to reporting by Noticias 23/Univision, an uprising just took place at the notorious immigrant detention center called 'Alligator Alcatraz' by some and the 'Everglades Concentration Camp' by others.
The facility is in the process of closing down.

Residents of East Phillips - which is 76% people of color - asked to build the urban farm and community complex at the site instead. The council voted 7-6 in a restricted-access meeting to choose to go ahead with construction of a new public works building that would endanger local residents:

The city's original plan for the site included a public works expansion, which drew pollution concerns over the possible introduction of over 800 diesel trucks moving in and out of the area, kicking up air impurities in the process.
The community-led resistance mobilized residents of East Phillips, which led to a victory in 2023, preventing demolition and securing a purchase agreement of the site for a transformative vision.

NEW: Bryan Hooper, another wrongfully convicted Black man in Minnesota, is hoping to be freed from his life sentence after the state’s key trial witness recently admitted to the murder Hooper was convicted for. In late July, the perpetrator of the vicious 1998 murder of 77-year-old Ann Prazniak confessed to the crime while in a Georgia state prison.

Community Protector Larry "Fox" Mitchell, Gone Too Soon
Larry "Fox" Mitchell shared the story of his grandma being burned alive by the Klu Klux Klan in North Carolina in 2012 and what motivated him to become a community protector. Fox, who recently passed away, was with the MN Freedom Fighters during the summer of 2020 and the George Floyd Uprising.
This interview was taken during a Juneteenth Celebration in North Minneapolis in 2020 and video clips are from Fox protecting marches in 2020.
