A group of 40–50 settler terrorists torched a mosque with people inside and several cars in the West Bank. How could the IDF have missed 40 young men on their way to attack a village? In fact, they couldn't have. They must have chosen to let it happen.

This story repeats itself time and again. Under occupation, Palestinians are routinely punished for violence committed against them. The IDF and the police, by default, side with settlers, regardless of how violent they are.

Last Sunday, settlers built an outpost inside Mughayyir al-Deir. The IDF let them stay, harass, and threaten the residents. By Friday, the village was emptied of Palestinians. 5 days was all it took. For the settlers —mission accomplished. A state-backed ethnic cleansing.

The IDF Spokesperson has just released its account of the incident in which 15 rescue workers were killed in Gaza. In a word? Cover-up.
The investigation is riddled with contradictions, vague phrasing, and selective details. The only "serious" disciplinary action taken: the dismissal of the deputy commander of Golani’s elite unit. His reported “failure” was submitting an incomplete account of the incident. In other words, he lied.
We all remember when the IDF claimed that the ambulances emergency lights weren’t on — and then we saw the footage proving otherwise. Not every lie has a video to expose it, but this report doesn’t even attempt to engage with the truth.
Another day, another cover-up. More innocent lives taken, with no accountability.
Bonus: The report dedicates an entire paragraph to praising the dismissed officer. Here's a part of it:
“The deputy commander of Golani's elite unit is a highly decorated officer, whose military service and personal story reflect a spirit of combat, volunteerism, and deep dedication.”
