I find this topic very interesting because to say the least, I just cut ties with a single woman friend who had a daughter that was friends with my daughter and I saw her push out everybody else in her life blaming them for something they did to her, but I always found a way to weather, the storms that she brought but at some point I had to say no more and cut ties 100% (and it was crazy how they responded!) Do you think that was the right thing to do?

I have to say that “Staying humble and stacking sats” is also staying humble when friends & fam finally start coming around to bitcoin
I say this because for years now I’ve tried to talk to my brother about bitcoin but he would always brush me off, act like I was over the top, be annoyed I was going down ANOTHER rabbit hole looking for truth, or just ignore me (you know what I mean) …
…then today he randomly calls me mid day ( I don’t answer because I’m working of course)
…he immediately texts me saying “call asap I think I have a really great idea!” …
…long story short, I called him back and he said “I was thinking I should sell my house and buy a bitcoin with what is leftover after I pay off the mortgage and just rent instead “

Not surprisingly they group btc in with crypto to make their argument and twist the data & narratives to fit their own.
To be fair, they could say because they are a “long-term” investment platform they are protecting their clients from becoming the trade in the “short-term” but it’s still a cop out.
My best guess is in about 6mo. after the release of the govt. digital assets framework research - Vanguard will drop something in favor of btc or at least publicly say they are
