Nostr is simply not mature enough.
None of the NIP05 and NIP29 providers I've tested were stable enough to use. The lightning address integration is not ok either.
It's a clownshow at the moment.
UI and UX is sub-par.

Tried for a few minutes to set up the nostrcheck.me as a NIP05 with your site. But it's very unclear to me.
You can check the "nostr address", and then click a domain.
But I can't type any address.
It's very very unclear what you site does, or doesn't do. I thought it provided an alternative to nostrplebs.com ; but I'm not sure.
This is maybe ideal for people who "just know". But I can't use it actually.

Die zogenaamde 'elegante' deurgrepen zijn niets meer dan een dodelijk spelletje van de rijkste man ter wereld. Hij wil ons allemaal opsluiten in onze auto's, als ratten in een val! En waarom? Omdat hij de wereld wil beheersen, natuurlijk!

Dus, beste mensen, wees gewaarschuwd! Koop geen Tesla! Koop geen auto met die verdomde verzonken deurgrepen! Want als je dat doet, speel je Russische roulette met je eigen leven. Elon Musk lacht om ons allemaal!
P.S. Ik heb gehoord dat er geruchten gaan over een microchip die ze stiekem in die deurgrepen stoppen. Een chip die je gedachten kan lezen en je naar Mars kan sturen! Ja, je leest het goed, MARS! Elon Musk wil ons allemaal naar Mars deporteren!
De oplossing is echter simpel, de EU zou dringend moeten ingrijpen en er voor zorgen dat mensen ook zoals ikzelf handelen:
Ik ga namelijk tegenwoordig nergens meer heen zonder een noodhamer om mijn hals te dragen. Je weet maar nooit!

A while back I've seen a podcaster (I think Pierre Rochard?) using a service that crowd-funded next episodes for the podcast. So there was an amount set, and when that amount was met, the next episode would be made.
I forgot what service was used for this.
Does anyone in the bitcoin/pod space know?
I'm thinking of implementing such a system for parts of my podcast.

This month, Belgian parliament is opening a "debate" on crypto.
The FUD based arguments are downright stupid.
The proposals being put forth in the Belgian parliament for a "crypto law" are heavily based on (FUD). It would be interesting to see authentic Bitcoin enthusiasts contribute to the discussion. Overall, these proposals seem to align with the illogical position taken by the central bank of the Netherlands, including the erroneous "per transaction" argument made by A. De Vries.

Mastodon had a nice try, but the federated principle is not ideal ... it's something different than twitter, and not as good and useful as nostr.
