software is neat but have you ever pulled a bread out of the oven?

If anybody out there adores their coworkers and gets paid to improve peoples’ lives in a substantive way (education, art, healthcare, public services) and they could use a friendly designer-developer-writer type nerd that valiantly fights technical debt and miscommunication, I’d love to say hi!
Not ideal: VC-funded startup full ham with AI
Perfect: vibrant, passionate weirds wearing a lot of hats
Thanks in advance for any boosts, recommendations, or sassy DMs. ❤️

I was motivated by @nprofile…hefl’s AI summer reading collection to poke more seriously at agent-assisted coding. Useful learning and mixed feelings!

Next free idea: e-reader with bellows, so you can roughly feel when you’ve got one of those long ones to get through.
Since I know you’re going to ask: yes—it makes a wheezing, honking sound if you collapse it quickly for travel and/or amusement.

Please disable your ad blocker so we can include animated banner ads, fifty extra megabytes of JavaScript, unrelated autoplaying videos that follow you down the page, elements that load asynchronously and move the text you’re trying to read, and sponsored Taboola promotions that are eight times the length of the article and leave you grateful that tabloid newspapers can’t leave their stands and follow you out of the store.

@npub1h56…ch5t I completely agree about user-first projects and these marvelous plain-text digital brain options! Am I wrong thinking that it’s *primarily* supported by VC backing? https://blog.logseq.com/logseq-raises-4-1m-to-accelerate-growth-of-the-new-world-knowledge-graph/

One underrated feature Obsidian has over LogSeq is that it’s funded by users and not VC capital.

@npub18qw…y4hk Not sure if the exercise would be enough to account for my sharp increase of potato consumption.

If you’re new here and your timeline lacks pizzazz, it’s because you haven’t followed @npub13rw…nfd8 yet.

@npub1qmc…v6gx Apologies, I wrongly imagined this at about 35 miles per hour.

@npub1qmc…v6gx I imagine it depends on angle, velocity, and weather conditions but the only shame here from my POV is that the other person gets at most two or three of those syllables.

@npub1ulm…hweg There are tools like federike.social that can make list managing a little easier, too! (No affiliation, just the one I use.)
