what I don't like about the desktop client is that it sometimes loses connection. And then there is no way to re-establish the connection. Except for kill and start.
Same goes for onedrive via rsync. Gets stuck and won't do anything until restart.
I would love a driver which detects that it's blocked and then attempt all possible restart playbooks with adequate notifications what is going on.

mich wundert wenn der Kassenbon nicht raus kommt, dass man dann nochmal bezahlen kann. Der Kassenvorgang ist abgeschlossen. Also dürfte die Kasse das nicht erlauben. Ausser override vom Kassierer.
Der kannte wohl nicht den Unterschied von Kassenbon und Kartenbon nicht (welche solches SB Kassen normalerweise gar nicht ausgeben).

bash is inherently safer than any other scripting language because it will never call system() and execute user supplied variables. If it does that's a level 10 security vulnerability. (remember shellshock?)
I wrote many web tools open tonthe Internet in bash. Typically small ones like a password reset form.

maybe @npub14zw…pf4e can build one for you. Forgot the name. Basicaly a hardware based automatic KVM.
Originally a device which seamlessly switches computers when the mouse gets to the border, thus extending to 2 screens but on 2 different computers.
As it's raspberry based it can be reprogrammed to do whatever you want.

oh, I ran web-teams in Chrome browser. It was sluggish as hell. Worked fine in Firefox, but there you have no video/screen sharing.
Electron: sharing works and it's not hanging randomly.

I am still happy that I can run teams on linux as an electron app instead of the browser version, which is a giant hassle.
The other solution is no teams. Well then I need to change jobs or install windows.
