Remember Dundee Axe Girl? A 12 year old girl was filmed brandishing an axe and a knife in Dundee, apparently defending herself from a guy with a heavy foreign accent while another girl shouted, "don’t touch my sister, she’s only 12."
At the time, the authorities said, "Don't speculate as to what this could be about."
Everyone slammed Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson for sharing dangerous, false, far-right "misinformation" that this girl was a victim, defending herself, when the authorities reported her as the aggressor and told us she'd been charged.
Then even our trustworthy heterodox commentators decided, "Well, this is clearly just a working-class child being violent and uncouth and racist and all those other working class traits that I despise. The real victim here is the poor, innocent migrant man being threatened with an axe."
Did we learn nothing from the establishment treatment of the grooming gang scandal?
Well, it looks like that girl could in fact have been defending herself from a predatory male. There's an ongoing trial - not of the girl, but of the man.
Of course, everyone is innocent until proven guilty - but regardless of the sentence, what we know now is very different from what we were told at the time.
And how unedifying for commentators who pride themselves on not following the herd to be seen ambling alongside the wildebeest at the Guardian, chewing the establishment cud.

The Renters Rights Act is having predictable effects. We now have mass evictions as landlords sell up, a huge fall in the number of properties available to rent, landlords/letting agents intensely vetting tenants, and mega-landlords taking over the market. Anybody who understood the basics of the housing market could see this coming a mile off.
By importing millions of people, successive governments have fed the social contract into the shredder and made our own people compete for scraps while taxes destroy native wealth. This isn’t a cost of living crisis. This is a collapse of the existing economic order. FAKE NURSE GIVEN SUSPENDED SENTENCE
An immigrant with no medical qualifications worked across NHS sites using forged documents.
Oluwabunmu Adeleiyi accessed patient records and even wrote clinical notes.
Adeleiyi living in Canton, Cardiff, was in the UK on a student visa when she worked at Neath Port Talbot Hospital and the Caswell Clinic in Bridgend.
An internal investigation found that staff had raised concerns about Adeleiyi’s “bizarre” behaviour during shifts, including locking herself alone in a ward room.
She was also found to have locked corridor doors that were not permitted to be locked, posing potential risks during fires or incidents involving violent patients.
The court also heard that Adeleiyi had used the ID of a registered healthcare support worker who had fled the UK to Nigeria using a false passport.
Cardiff Crown Court heard that Adeleiyi and two accomplices used the same identification documents to bill the NHS about £16,000 a month through different employment agencies.

A woman in her 20s was attacked by multiple men outside Epsom Methodist Church after leaving a nightclub.
Days later, Surrey Police still claim they don’t have “full descriptions” of any suspects – despite the area being packed with CCTV and the victim being supported by specialists.
Surely they must have something by now? Even basic details like height, build, clothing, or accents could help identify them. Minor info matters in cases like this.
I don’t buy it. When they’re this coy about releasing anything, it usually means they’re hiding something.

My Honest Account of what happened last night.
I arrived at Epsom expecting to see maybe 20/30 people there. It was only a flash demo after all.
But such is the anger and feeling of betrayal in Epsom that there were several hundred people at the station.
There were not many police either.They had been caught on the hop.We marched off in a peaceful manor. No shouting. No singing.When we reached the junction we decided this was as good a place as any to hold our protest.
We held the traffic up.But I did not hear one motorist complain.Most were locals and were giving us the thumbs up from their cars.Everything was peaceful.And orderly.
Then as van after van of riot police started to arrive the atmosphere turned a bit. It was a total overreaction by boys in blue.And one that I have not seen at other demos such as the pro pally mobs that have plagued our streets for the last couple of years.
Any major trouble was only averted by the leadership of our guys at the front calling for calm.
All we were asking for was a bit of honesty and a bit of dialogue.We were met with riot shields.
Well done to the people of Epsom.
Shame on the police.

Do Reform Think We're Stupid?
