There is a need for decentralized lending (dare I say defi), using native Bitcoin as collateral. This would allow small businesses to fund short term cash obligations, to pay suppliers for example, without liquidating Bitcoin.
I will get in trouble for saying this here, but this sort of functionality exists on ethereum (and works well) but not yet for Bitcoin. The closest thing we have is centralized lenders like Salt which allow Bitcoin collateralized loans with high interest rates and a maximum term of one year.
I wanted to use my Bitcoin as collateral to buy a building for my business. As of now, there's just no way to do it.

What a great explanation!
I think it's so important to recognize that words are not that which they represent, you are spot on.
I find it useful, too, to differentiate between a sort of personal, romantic, or even ego motivated 'love' (which people often refer to, myself included), and the sort of universal love which you mentioned is very close to compassion. This type of love demands that we see ourselves in all others, not just our spouses or our families. This universal love is selfless. And in it's truest form demands the complete annihilation of ego.

I think I see where you're coming from. In the context of a relationship, the act of staying, despite abuse, is not love. I think this should go without saying, but it is often confused because our perception of love in society is that it should be 'fought' for. But this idea is misguided, and I think that is your point.
I believe that suffering is part of live. I also believe that suffering and love are yin and yang. That is to say, one cannot experience live without also experiencing suffering. If you love your child, and you lose them, you will experience grief, suffering, BECAUSE you love them. If you did not love them you would not suffer their loss.
I think love also requires self sacrifice, or selflessness. If you love someone you will sometimes give up things which serve your own ego in order to serve them. You will be prepared to suffer so that they don't have to. This is an integral part of love.
Does this mean you should stay in an abusive relationship? Of course not. The act of suffering is not love. But you cannot have one without the other. This is just my experience.

💯. I often think about how this idea applies to our food, too. I think the strength of the connection between individuals (nodes) is not implied with either anarchy or decentralized, only that the relationship between them is made freely rather than determined by central authority. In this way anarchy and decentralization are the same.
