with self-hosted gitlab you still need to pay for the storage :( better stick with github

2026-03-27 16:44:43 UTC

okay since gitlab has a "generic" package repository I'm sure I can put whole OS images in there

2026-03-24 20:18:44 UTC

what do the cool kids use today instead of a makefile? I could hammer out a build.zig file but that looks overkill tbh. not a zig project btw

You have to admit. SCO had style. Naming an OS UnixWare is cool af and setting their brand colors as the default CDE theme is cool af too. And it looks nice.

With all the new browser based Linux installers, while they look sleek, creating a non-default partitioning scheme is a real pain

But they acknowledged the bug.
No clue what, how or why though.

Some people are complaining about a lack of discoverability on fedi. In my opinion, this isn’t really a problem. We have a cool solution for that, it’s called a [@yassie_j](https://labyrinth.zone/users/yassie_j ) , and they just know everybody on here. Just ask if you need to discover new people /hj
