Anybody else heard of this Bouba-Kiki effect before? This came up in some article I was reading (so of course I had to go dive down and learn more). Apparently, our minds will automatically, across many languages and regions, associate shapes with these sounds.
If you were told: in this picture there are two shapes: Bouba and Kiki. Which one is which? How would you pick? Apparently I fall into the standard response for this, but it is fascinating to me how our brain is wired that way.

Does anybody know how we can find out if they plan on running somebody in a ward? I live in one that doesn't seem to have a candidate listed... I know the person who ran last time and I don't think they are running again. Only way is to contact the NDP directly via the site?
