One of the killer features from @npub1akm…wns5 is for me, that you can use your own domain.
This means, as a band, author etc you can promote everywhere your handle with @name@my_own_domain.tld
This is so perfect. This means your handle will still be correct if the instance you chose in the beginning is not alive anymore.

Hey @npub1fdr…lvhs , @npub1ekp…y0nh just informed me that i read the first written book in the series, but not in the story order.
Is that a homage to Star Wars? 😁
I will still read it, in the order you wrote, as I watched star wars in 4-5-6 | 1-2-3 | 7-8-9 (and some movies in between)
Or would you say it makes more sense to read your books in 3-1-2 order?

the MAIN domain can then still be used for something else....cool.
will it also be possible,
- move my mastodon account to my holos account? (so with all the followers and people I follow?)
- will different people be able to use the same domain?
so: sub1.domain.tld -> @sub1@domain.tld
sub2.domain.tld -> @sub2@domain.tld
and so on?
that would be really awesome.

Are you aware of this issue? If some really new accounts appear, the Fedilab app links sometimes really wild to the wrong accounts.
I'm following punkstodon.de instance in fedilab. So i see this post

If i click antidotet in the timeline view it opens a completely different account.

Ich kenne das Problem. Das posiert vor allem wenn man accounts ohne die Instanz verlinkt. Und es die accounts auf mehreren Instanzen gibt. Aber auch so kommt manches komplett falsch an. Nutz aber auch fedilab. Aber das passiert im Browser auch. Ich glaub wenn der Server den account noch nicht kennt..

Does anyone else have issues doing quote posts with @npub14kx…urew ?
It always worked, but it's not working anymore.
I already deleted and reinstalled Fedilab...
I tried the official Mastodon app, and there it worked, so it's not a problem with my account.
Asking first here before filling out the bug report tomorrow...

It's so sad to see someone has made great efforts to do a PR on Mastodon and the PR is open for 2 years now.

Die lassen sich, im Gegensatz zu den erwachsenen Aufkleber immer so easy abziehen...

the MathJax-Src dependency has a lot of tests - but it's all LaTex related, which I have no idea about.....

They love to have a long used phone, maybe they can provide resources, or they maybe need help...
As I said, I would love to have a fair and modular phone with GrapheneOS.

Voll nervig, mal wieder so ein pixelfed bug:
Du musst auf Mastodon bevor du einen Zeilenumbruch machst noch ein Leerzeichen einfügen, sonst schaut das im der pixelfed app so aus.
Super nervig, vergesse ich auch oft. Ich glaub das hilft aber....
Muss ich mal testen und bug ticket eröffnen 🙄

As I'm stil trying switching away from Spotify, I'm trying out since today Tidal.
When i choose in Google maps setting for "default media playback controls" I can only select Youtube music and Spotify. But there is no Tidal and no qobuz to select.
Any workaround for this?
I'm not driving many times with a car, but when I do, I like to have it.

So, cancelled my Spotify subscription.
What are you using to stream music and podcasts?
- Apple Music?
- Tidal?
- Amazon Music?
- Napster?
- youtube music?
Anything else?
I will try most of these apps for a month to see what makes me happy.
But happy to hear about your opinions, especially how good the UI/UX of the (Android) App is.
