The site includes extra context on JsonResponse(safe=) which clarifies why it's important. Thankfully, browsers have gotten better to the point where this feature (and antipattern) can be removed!

For people who use the #Django Debug Toolbar, what are your thoughts on having the toolbar allow you to run a non-select query in the SQL panel?
Today it allows you to run and explain on the query. There's an issue to better improve what is considered a select query (the existing check is crude), but it's making me wonder, should we allow a person to re-run an update, delete, create query?

to be honest, it was more of the conversation with Emily that lead to me being comfortable committing to taking an extended break than the festbier.

Our local lager only brewery held their first night of Oktoberfest last night. There was a German food truck selling brats with kraut.
One thing led to another and when we got home I finally bought the violin for my sabbatical/retirement. It's becoming real folks!
