Unsticking the #fascia from the rib cage, and allowing the diaphragm to open up, decompresses tension on the kidneys and allows you to “take the gas pedal off” of the adrenal glands.

I have cool clients who have cute puppies that I get to hang out with 🥰
Michelle is 82 years old. She suffered a near-death accident over 10 years ago that left physically crushed and crippled for many years. Although she never stopped moving, and never stopped LIVING, she was doing so with great effort and a considerable amount of pain.

In my experience with my client at least, I took away that #flatearth was providing her the necessary backing to justify denying the very reality of her life circumstances.
She was putting up with horrible relationships, horrible family environments, and a lot of physical pain, and telling herself, “None of this is real anyway, because…. { #flatearth } “.

Ohh, new word-play I love that!
I do not do chiropractic. I have worked with them in the past, but I no longer believe in that type of “high-velocity” impact work on the body.
I utilize the nervous system as a way of getting into the muscular and skeletal system. It takes more time, but when you can hack the mechanisms that are creating the fear, protection, or anxiety being held in the myofascia, you can allow the body to find its own way to balance.
My work is both gentle, and very deep at the same time. It is a beautiful process. I will share more session videos soon!

I had a client recently tell me they “Didn’t believe in Gravity” when I was telling them about posture and the forces pulling down on our bodies.
We found a fantastic middle-ground.
You can imagine the Earth is flat, you can create whatever reality you want for yourself, but if you deny the existence of spirals and concentric motion in nature, in your body, and in the world around you, then your just playing tricks on yourself and you’ll never take full advantage of what’s right in front of you.
#FlatEarth is a cognitive dissonance that allows people to exist in reality’s they don’t like or don’t want to acknowledge as real. It’s not an honest belief, it’s a destructive idea to keep from believing anything at all.
